Doors open 7:00am

Wrestling starts at 8:30 am
 

REGISTRATIOn:

  • Cost is $500 per team (Includes 2 coaches passes and 1 table worker)

  • K-4, K-8, High School Divisions

  • $100 deposit to hold spot

  • Full payment due prior to 4/14/23

  • Maximum of 8 teams in each division

  • Rosters must be submitted by Thursday, 4/13

  • Changes can be made to rosters up until the start of wrestling on Sunday, 4/16

  • Wrestlers can compete on two different teams in different divisions

  • Anyone who wants to be added to the free agent list, please send wrestler's name, division, weight class, parent name, parent email and parent cell to breakthechainswrestling@gmail.com This list will be shared with the coaches.

MATCH LENGTH:

  • K-4th GRADE: 1:00 periods

  • K-8th GRADE: 1:15 periods

  • HIGH SCHOOL: 1:30 periods

WEIGH-INS:

 

  • ​Early Weigh-ins: Saturday, April 15th, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm ($20 per wrestler)

  • Sunday morning weigh-ins: 7:00 am to 8:00am

  • Wrestling starts at 8:30am on Sun, 4/16

 

WEIGH-INS FROM THE OPEN ON 4/14 WILL BE HONORED
*Singlets optional for weigh-ins

ADMISSIONS:

Adults - $15

  •  2 day pass $20

Students - $5

*Under 5 - FREE

 

Floor Pass - $10 (this is in addition to admission)

 *Anyone who wants to be on the floor at any time MUST have a floor pass

**Due to the unique nature of this tournament, there will be an increase of equipment around the mats. In order to allow the best viewing for all spectators and to maximize this experience, there will be NO seating on the turf. Everyone should plan to sit in the bleachers!! If you have a floor pass you will be asked to only be on the floor during your wrestler's match**

 

 

AWARDS:

  • Top 4 Teams for each division receive awards

  • Team Champions receive individual awards

  • Outstanding Wrestler award for every team

RULES:
- Headgear optional
- College Out of Bounds
- Singlet not required at weigh-ins
- Modified scholastic rules used for all divisions. Tournament will be double elimination or round robin.
- Tournament Director reserves the right to combine weight classes upon need.
- All officials’ decisions are final
- No video reviews
- Any disrespectful conduct towards wrestlers, adults, staff, or officials will not be tolerated and can result in removal from the tournament

NO REFUNDS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF TOURNAMENT

Challenges:
- Anyone wishing to challenge the age or experience level of a wrestler must present physical proof prior to or during the tournament.
- Any wrestler found wrestling in a division that they are not eligible for, by age or experience level, will be removed from the tournament.
- Final decision is left to the discretion of the Tournament Director.
