West Penn Duals started in 2012 as an 8 team event. It grew quickly into a premiere national event with teams from all over the country. Many of the best youth, junior high, and high school wrestlers out of Pennsylvania and surrounding states, have wrestled in WPD. West Penn Duals is once again back where it should be...in Western PA!

FEE:
K-4, K-6, K-8, High School - 2 days, Saturday and Sunday

**Please note, we will have a brief training for all Table Workers at 8:00 am on Saturday 11/09 and Sunday 11/10 - please make sure your designated table worker attends**

K-6th GRADE COMMUNITY/School DIVISION RULES:

Team must be from the same school/community/league team.

Team can have a maximum of four wrestlers who are not from their school/community/league team.

ROSTERS:

Rosters with accomplishments should be submitted by Friday, November 1st at midnight.

Links to submit rosters will be given to team contact.

Teams without accomplishments listed will not get seeded.

Changes can be made to rosters on the day of the tournament up until 8:00am.

Wrestlers can wrestle on more than one team but must be in different divisions.

All teams will have a modified 1 minute overtime with a 30 second ride out
15 point tech fall
AWARDS:
Team awards for top 4 placing teams in each division
Individual awards for Team Champions, Team Runner-Up and 3rd Place Team
Outstanding Wrestler awards for one wrestler on each team.

TABLE WORKER:
Each team must provide one adult table worker (admission for table worker included in team entry fee)
​
HOTEL:
We are very fortunate to be able to work directly with local hotels and the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce to secure blocks of rooms with the best rates! Please make sure you make your reservations soon to ensure you can stay with your team!
An additional note, the previous host hotel that was located within walking distance of the convention center is no longer open.

Any disrespectful conduct towards wrestlers, adults, staff, or officials will not be tolerated and can result in removal from the tournament
NO REFUNDS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF TOURNAMENT
Challenges:
- Anyone wishing to challenge the age or experience level of a wrestler must present physical proof prior to or during the tournament.
- Any wrestler found wrestling in a division that they are not eligible for, by age or experience level, will be removed from the tournament.
- Final decision is left to the discretion of the Tournament Director.
