REGISTRATION:

• $500 per K-4 Team

• $550 per K-8 Team

• $550 per High School Team

- $100 deposit to hold spot

- Full payment due prior to 8/2/24

- Each team receives admission for 2 coaches and 1 table worker

- Each team MUST provide a table worker.  BTC will conduct a brief training for table workers the morning of the tournament

ROSTERS

- Links to submit rosters will be given to team contact

- Teams without accomplishments listed will not get seeded

- Changes can be made to rosters on the day of the tournament up until 8:30am.

- Wrestlers can wrestle on more than one team but in different divisions.

Rosters must be submitted by Friday, 7/26/24, at midnight

Anyone interested in being added to the free agent list should email us at breakthechainswrestling@gmail.com with the following information:

The list is emailed out to all of the coaches on a regular basis.  The coaches will contact you directly to add you to their team.

WEIGH-INS:

Early Weigh-ins (optional):

• Friday, 8/2, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm - $20 per wrestler - all dual divisions and open wrestlers

​

Regular Weigh-ins:

• Friday, 8/2, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (NO K-4 or OPEN weigh-ins!!)

• Saturday, 8/3, 7:00 am to 7:30 am (NO K-4 or OPEN weigh-ins!!)

 

Wrestling starts at 8:30am on Saturday, 8/3

*ONE WEIGH-IN ONLY IF WRESTLING IN THE DUALS & THE OPEN

**K-4 Division can weigh-in on FRIDAY 2:00 pm-4:00 pm (optional) for $20 as well as these listed times:

• Saturday, 8/3, 12:00pm - 2:00pm (optional) - $20 per wrestler

• Saturday, 8/3, 3:00pm - 4:00pm (regular weigh-ins)

• Sunday, 8/4,  7:00 am - 7:30am (regular weigh-ins)

 

MATCH LENGTH:

- K-4th GRADE: 1:00 periods

- K-8th GRADE: 1:15 periods

- HIGH SCHOOL: 1:30 periods

- 10 point tech fall

 

AWARDS:

- Top 4 Teams for each division receive awards

- Team Champions receive individual awards

- Outstanding Wrestler award for every team

ADMISSION:

$15 for Adults • $25 for Two Day Pass (if attending the Open on Sunday)

$5 for Students

This is a STAY-TO-SAVE TOURNAMENT - All non-commuting participants in the tournament are encouraged to book their hotel accommodations through this site. We appreciate your support as these partnered hotels assist in sponsoring our event.

HBC guarantees their rates are lower than the flexible rates online for the same hotel and room type.  Also the reservation is entirely cancellable so plan your sports-cation and make your reservations early!!

BRACKETS:

The tournament brackets will be on FLO Arena.

 

RULES:

- Headgear optional
- College Out of Bounds
- Singlet not required at weigh-ins
- Modified scholastic rules used for all divisions
- All officials’ decisions are final
- No video reviews
- Any disrespectful conduct towards wrestlers, adults, staff, or officials will not be tolerated and can result in removal from the tournament

NO REFUNDS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF TOURNAMENT

Challenges:
- Anyone wishing to challenge the age or experience level of a wrestler must present physical proof prior to or during the tournament.
- Any wrestler found wrestling in a division that they are not eligible for, by age or experience level, will be removed from the tournament.
- Final decision is left to the discretion of the Tournament Director.
